2. Scope
This policy applies to visitors of edroplet.com, regardless of location. The Site is operated from Australia and is primarily presented to audiences in Australia. Where the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) apply, we handle personal information as described below. Where other local laws give you additional rights, we will honour those rights where they apply to us.
3. Personal data we may collect
Depending on how you use the Site, we may process:
- Technical and usage data — IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time and date of visit, click paths, and similar diagnostics.
- Cookie and similar technology data — identifiers stored on your device (see our Cookie Policy).
- Communications data — name, email address, and message content if you email us or otherwise contact us voluntarily.
- Advertising / affiliate interaction data — whether you clicked a sponsored or partner link, and basic campaign identifiers needed to attribute that click (often handled by partners via cookies or redirect parameters).
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (health, religion, biometrics, etc.) through this Site. Please do not send such information to us unless it is strictly necessary for a lawful request.
4. How we collect data
- Automatically, when you load pages or click links (server logs, cookies, pixels, tags).
- Directly from you, when you email or message us.
- From advertising, analytics, hosting, or affiliate partners that support the Site’s operation and monetisation.
5. Purposes and legal bases
We handle personal information for purposes that are reasonably necessary for our business, including:
- operating and securing the Site;
- understanding aggregate traffic;
- publishing advertising content;
- measuring which partner links are used;
- preventing fraud and abuse;
- improving layout and content;
- responding to enquiries you send us.
Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, analytics, or marketing technologies, we rely on that consent. You can withdraw consent via browser settings or by contacting us.
6. Advertising links and commercial disclosures
Important: edroplet.com does not sell products. Buttons such as “See NotePin” or “Learn more” only send you to an external brand or retailer site. Our relationship with those parties is limited to advertising (and, where used, affiliate tracking). We may receive a fee if you click a link or later buy elsewhere. That does not make us the seller, your contracting party, or the party responsible for the order.
After you leave this Site, the third party’s own terms, privacy notice, pricing, shipping, and support apply.
7. Sharing and recipients
We may share personal data with:
- Hosting, CDN, and IT security providers;
- Analytics and measurement providers (where enabled);
- Advertising networks, affiliate networks, and brand/merchant partners involved in tracking clicks or conversions;
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
- Public authorities if required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal data in the sense of a standalone consumer data brokerage. Advertising and affiliate technologies may still involve sharing identifiers with partners as part of running the Site.
8. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or the EEA). Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances and applicable Australian privacy requirements.
9. Retention
- Server logs and security records — typically for a short period (often up to 12 months), unless a longer period is needed for security investigations.
- Analytics aggregates — according to the tool’s retention settings, often 14–26 months.
- Email correspondence — for as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable follow-up period (usually up to 24 months), unless a longer legal retention applies.
- Affiliate / advertising records — as needed to reconcile commissions and prevent fraud, often aligned with partner contract periods.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of this Site (access controls, HTTPS where available, limited staff access). No online transmission is completely secure; please use caution when sending sensitive information by email.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply), you may have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to processing (including profiling for advertising measurement, where applicable);
- data portability;
- withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Our primary privacy contact for Australian privacy matters is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) — www.oaic.gov.au. If another privacy law applies to you, you may also contact your local authority.
To exercise rights with us, email info@alphaxadvisory.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
12. Children
The Site is aimed at adults interested in consumer products. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Third-party websites
Links on this Site may take you to merchant stores, brand pages, social networks, or other external sites. Those sites have their own privacy notices. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Site after an update means you should review the revised policy.
